What can I use the building for?
Your garden building has a wide range of possible uses, depending on your lifestyle demands. Many of our customers have used our buildings as home offices, personal gyms, games rooms, leisure rooms, home cinemas, and even music studios. The possibilities are endless.
Do I need planning permission?
In most cases the answer is no, provided your choice of Garden Living product can be sited more than 2 metres from the boundary and less than 30m² in size, planning will not be a requirement. Should you wish to place your Garden Living building closer to your boundary, we have an alternative lower height building which we can provide which will also comply with local planning authority regulations.
Can I chose any design?
Yes, any design can be chosen, which we hope will suit your requirements. If, however, you have more specific needs, we can build a bespoke Verso to suit your requirements, using of course all the same designs, materials and finishes.
What are the buildings made of?
Our buildings are built using the most innovative building products available, we build onto a concrete base, and we use either structurally insulated panels (SIPS), or bespoke studwork frames with highly efficient Celotex and Kingspan thermal insulation to all sides, floor and roof.
The internal walls and ceilings are plastered and painted, and we offer a wide range of floor coverings.
Are they designed to be used all year?
Absolutely, all our garden buildings are fully insulated and weatherproof, and offer the same standards and quality expected in a modern day house building. We can also offer a fully remote controlled climate control system to enhance your comfort.
What are your lead times?
If you chose from our standard range of products, the lead time will be 2-4 weeks, and the installation time on site will generally be one week.
What additional services can I have within my Garden Living building?
All our products come with power points and lighting, and we can also offer a water supply, toilet and shower facilities, kitchenette, television, broadband and telephone lines, iPod docking stations, surround sound; generally we can provide any of the services you would expect within a room in your home.
How much do these buildings cost?
This will be dependant on your choice and size, and also your specification, but, for example, a 3.9m x 2.7m Verso 1 would start at £14,250 + vat.
